Dennis has been great fun to design and create. I spent many nights creating, undoing my work and then re-creating! After about a month of planning, drawing and much hair pulling my little dragon was ready. For more information, including owning a dragon of your own, please click on the above picture. Bye for now – Lucy x
I currently run a craft class for Taunton Association for the Homeless I love the work that I do with the clients. The class runs for 2 hours once a week, we make lots of different items including cards, mobile hangings, pom-poms, gift bags and gift boxes. We recently ran a T-shirt competition for a local fashion show. The winners design was painted onto a T-shirt by the winner and before being modelled at the show. It was a very proud moment for us all. We are currently in the process of making Christmas cards and decorations ready to sell in order to raise funds for the Association.
My name is Lucy and I have been creating art and craft for the past 30 years or more! I have recently discovered the art of crochet and I absolutely love it! it has become very addictive. I am currently working on 2 elephants for Christmas presents and a beautiful dress for my Granddaughter (photos to follow on my Crochet page).
I also love Scrapbooking, my most recent project being a wedding album for my son and daughter-in-law. I have scrapped everything from baby photos to holidays to special events such as Halloween.
My other art passion is mixed-medial. I love the sense of freedom that it gives me, I am able to express myself, my emotions and my personality which has proved very therapeutic at times.
I currently run a craft class for Taunton Association for the Homeless. I have a wide range of clients with differing abilities, we make a variety of items, some the clients keep for themselves and others we sell to raise money for the Association. I love working with the people there, a lot of the clients think they have no art ability at all, but once they get started they are often surprised by their creativity.
You can find out more information along with a lot of phots of my work on the above links.
